Over the years I have worked on a number of scripts and produced many including my love of Shakespeare, where I have imprinted my own thoughts to make Shakespeare understood by all without realising it. A mix of knitting together words so the seam of the play is smooth.
The latest script is called the Mechanicals taken from Midsummer Night’s Dream and as the title suggest is based around the Mechanical from the play and does not feature the romantic parts. I have an adult version and a school version which takes away the double meanings and bawdy jokes.
Other works include a series of poems from my age of 4 to around 12 years. Lots of fun.
All scripts are free to work from but a fee of $50per performance is requested to keep the work flowing
The above is from The Hobbit a long time before the film was made and we did have permission to perform. A cast of 90 girls from a girls school in Cairns North Queensland. This is a great script for a large cast and to try new and innovative approach to not only the performers but the setting and technical approach.
