Shakespeare Plays
His date of birth is unknown but is traditionally observed on 23 April 1564 or thereabouts.
Shakespeare left few historical traces until he is mentioned as part of the London theatre scene in 1592. From then on his plays start to surface. Link here to find out more.. Ray Aucott’s adaptations work very closely with the original text
Ray Aucott
Ray started out at Drama College at Guildford in 1968 to 70 and has since written and performed many plays and written poems throughout.. Emigrating to Australia and New Zealand he has kept up to date with happenings in theatre and continues to write new works as well as adaptations for group work.

J. R. r. Tolkien
3 January 1892 to 2 September 1973 was an English writer. He was the author of fantasy works The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
From 1925 to 1945 Tolkien was Professor of Anglo-Saxon at the University of Oxford. Tolkien was a close friend of C. S. Lewis, a co-member of the informal literary discussion group the Inklings. Link to find out more
